A price is wrong or out of date

grocery.ai reads what Woolworths and Coles publish, usually once a day. A price can change between our reading it and your reaching the shelf, and occasionally a retailer publishes something wrong. The pack and the register are always the authority. If a price looks wrong for more than a day, send us the product and we will look at it.

A product is missing, or its details are wrong

The catalog covers what the two retailers publish, and some products carry no ingredient list or nutrition panel at all — about a third of them. Where a panel is missing the app says so rather than guessing, which is why some products show no score. Send us a barcode and we will check whether it is a gap we can fill.

What it costs

Nothing. grocery.ai is free, with no subscription, no paid tier and no advertising. Everything the app does is available to everyone who installs it.

Deleting your account or your data

Both are in Settings in the app:

• Delete my account removes your profile, your pantry, your notification tokens, and the login itself. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
• Forget my food profile erases what you told us about your diet and health while leaving the account and pantry alone.

To stop email alerts without deleting anything, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any alert. If you cannot get into the app for any reason, email us and we will delete the account for you.

Notifications are not arriving

Check that notifications are allowed under Settings → grocery.ai → Notificationson your phone. Alerts only fire when a watched product actually drops, so a quiet week usually means prices held rather than that something is broken — the pantry always shows today's price at both shops, whether or not it moved.
